Grown and milled on our organic farm, the Gilchester Organic stone-ground spelt is from an old continental heritage spelt variety. We thresh the spelt on the farm to remove the husk and put through extensive grain cleaning to ensure a pure grain grist. We are proud of our finely milled wholemeal spelt flour with gives a rich nutty flavour to all baking. The flour is suitable not only for bread making but also great for cakes, muffins, pancakes and scones. The flour is recommended for those who suffer from digestive problems and are sensitive to conventional wheats. Supplied in bags 1.5kg, 3kg and 15kg.
