BakeryBits baker and food writer

A passionate and creative home baker, Pip believes the first taste is with the eyes, crafting visually stunning cakes and sweet treats. Her favourites include a four-tier chocolate sponge with fresh cream, strawberries, and raspberries, as well as a coffee and pecan cake with coffee icing.

Since joining the BakeryBits team, Pip has been diving into beginner bread baking, with hopes of mastering the art of sourdough - and a determination to bake loaves as good as her dad’s!

Before working at BakeryBits, Pip studied embroidery at university, developing a keen eye for quality, precision, and beauty - skills she’s now transferring to her baking. In her spare time, Pip enjoys picking up a paintbrush or needle and thread to work on her next interior project or watercolour painting.
