Buzzcloth is the brainchild of Totnes-based Yolanda Drewell, who was looking for a practical plastic alternative for wrapping school sandwiches. She wanted a solution that was easy to clean and would accommodate all shapes and sizes of fruit and sandwich combinations. After some research, she accidentally discovered a Canadian entrepreneur who created the first beeswax food wrap. Inspired to make a local equivalent and become a champion in the fight against single-use plastic, Yolanda played around with waxes, resins and oils, and Buzzcloth was born.
At the end of its life, simply cut up into strips and use as fire-lighters or throw on the compost.
