Pomora Olive Oil
Pomora’s single-varietal, single-estate olive oils are some of the finest in the world. Grown in Italy by two award-winning, artisanal producers, both will add a depth of flavour to your baking (or salads) you won’t find anywhere else.
Carmelo’s groves are located on the lower slopes of Mt Etna on Sicily and benefit from the rich, volcanic soil found there. He grows the Nocellara Etnea varietal which produces an oil of extraordinary flavour and body. There is almost no bitterness in Carmelo’s oil making it an ideal, and far healthier, substitute for butter in many recipes.
Antonio’s oil, in contrast, is much more robust. Grown in the rolling hills of the Campanian countryside approximately 50 miles east of Naples, Antonio’s Ravece olives produce an oil with a real backend punch. The long, long pungent finish brings a delicious peppery kick to any dish.
