Steenbergs: Organic & Fairtrade Herbs and Spices

Steenbergs is a family-run spice company founded in 2003 by Axel and Sophie Steenberg in North Yorkshire. They set out to make it easier to buy organic and Fairtrade spices without compromising on flavour, aroma or provenance - sourcing ethically and packing everything with real care.

From their rural spice factory near Ripon, Steenbergs blends and packs a huge range of herbs, spices and seasonings, while putting “people, planet, profit” at the heart of the business. They’re also independently verified as a B Corp and describe themselves as carbon neutral, with a strong focus on more sustainable packaging and supply chains.
