The Brød & Taylor Folding Proofer & Slow Cooker makes made-from-scratch baking easier than ever with an optimum proofing environment and easy storage. Set the temperature lower for a longer “cool rise” or turn up the heat to give your yeast a boost on a cold winter's day.
The Folding Proofer & Slow Cooker used in the Slow Cook Mode is best for traditional slow cooking, making black garlic, and sous vide cooking. Simply place your metal pot directly on the heating plate. For slow cooking in the Proofer both the rack and the water tray are removed. Set the temperature on the digital panel according to what is specified in the Brod & Taylor recipe you are preparing.
A large window gives you a full view of the spacious interior where full-sized loaves fit easily. There is no need to cover your dough as the included water tray keeps humidity at an optimum level, the temperature of the proofer can be set from 21-49°C / 70-120°F.
The proofer comes with a UK 3 pin plug as standard (optionally subsitute for a Euro plug lead for use in Europe outside UK and Ireland). You can also use proofer to make yogurt and crême fraiche, melt and hold tempered chocolate and soften butter.
