Digital Oven Thermometer (DOT) 50°C to 300°C

A neat little digital oven thermometer (DOT) that has a clear display showing both the current temperature and an alarm temperature which, when reached, sounds an audible alarm. The braided wire between the thermometer and the probe means that the thermometer can be used while the oven door is closed to monitor the temperature of a bake. Ensure that your loaf is baked by using the probe and alarm to sound at 90°C - when the middle of dough reached this point, it is baked. The large LCD display has a backlight and loud 70dB audible alarm making it ideal for use in busy, professional kitchens and at home. After the alarm has sounded, the display will flash. It has a durable, water resistant case, designed to either sit on a worktop using the fold out stand, or attach to an appliance using the magnetic pads at the rear of the instrument. Supplied with a 114 mm penetration probe with a 1.2 metre stainless steel braided lead.
