Dough Wizard intellectual property and permitted use

Dough Wizard is a BakeryBits tool created to help bakers work out bread dough, pizza dough, flour choices and baking conversions more easily. This page explains what belongs to BakeryBits, what everyday use is permitted, and when written permission is required.

Ownership

Unless stated otherwise, the Dough Wizard name, page copy, design, layout, calculations, code, data presentation, visual styling, branding and related content are the intellectual property of BakeryBits.

This includes the main Dough Wizard pages, the individual calculator pages, the printable outputs, and the surrounding explanatory content published as part of the Dough Wizard experience.

Permitted use

You may use Dough Wizard through the BakeryBits website for your own personal or business baking work. This includes using the calculators, printing results, saving recipes in your browser, and referring to the outputs when planning or making dough.

You may also link to Dough Wizard pages in the normal way.

Use that is not permitted without written permission

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, mirror, frame, scrape, adapt, reskin or commercially exploit Dough Wizard or its content without prior written permission from BakeryBits.

This includes, in particular:

  • copying the wording, layout, styling or structure of the tool for another website or app
  • copying or adapting the code, calculator logic or printed outputs for reuse elsewhere
  • republishing substantial parts of the page copy, help text or branded outputs
  • creating a competing tool based closely on Dough Wizard and presenting it under different branding
  • using automated means to extract content, copy data or reproduce the user experience at scale

Saved recipes and browser storage

Where Dough Wizard offers recipe save and load features, those saves are stored in your current browser on your current device unless stated otherwise. They are not the same as a hosted BakeryBits customer account or cloud storage service.

Permissions and licensing requests

If you would like to license part of Dough Wizard, discuss a commercial use, or ask permission to reuse any content, please contact BakeryBits before doing so.

Trade marks and brand identifiers

BakeryBits branding and the Dough Wizard name are used as brand identifiers in connection with this tool. Nothing on this page gives permission to use BakeryBits branding, or the Dough Wizard name, in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or ownership without permission.

BakeryBits may update this page from time to time. Please refer to the version published on this website.
