Deliciously nutty, nutritious and easy to cook, use as an alternative to rice and couscous or add to soups and stews. Hodmedod have blended white and red British quinoa, try it in salads or as a rice/ couscous alternative to really show off the colours. Grown in Somerset (red) and Essex (white).
Instructions: Rinse, cover with one and a half to two parts water or stock for each 1 part quinoa, bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Add more water if necessary. The grains will swell to 2 to 3 times their original size.
Ingredients: white quinoa 75%, red quinoa 25%. May contain small stones.
