Hodmedod's British Organic Naked Oats

Hodmedod's British Organic Naked Oats, grown in Lincolnshire are so-called because unlike the more typical oats, the hull of naked oats naturally falls away from the grain without extra processing. Delicious as an alternative to rice, or in a bread as a "soaker".

Cooking instructions:

Rinse, bring to the boil then simmer until tender, about 30 minutes - less if the grain is pre-soaked for a few hours. Add to stews, casseroles or to your dough.
