Artisan Baker for Emma's Bread


Busy city centre bakery serving community owned Real Food Store and other businesses. All bread made on premises - sourdoughs a speciality; good honest loaves and seasonal fare; some cakes and pastries but absolutely no doughnuts!

 

Description:

Passionate baker required for all aspects of wide variety of bread production, from mixing, hand moulding and baking to packing and sweeping the floor. Working as part of a committed team, treated as an equal and displaying ability to take decisions and responsibility. Early starts but no night work. Huge opportunity for the right person to become head baker by early summer. Good rates of pay, holiday and pension scheme.

Expected hours
  • Full 40 hour week.
 
Qualifications Required   
  • Permited to work in the UK
  • Experience of working in commercial artisan/traditional bakery preferred though training will be given and development of skills encouraged. Commitment to Real Bread goes without saying.
