Summary: The bakery at the Suffolk Food Hall is a “scratch” bakery. We make as much as possible ourselves, by hand from scratch. We are looking to build on our foundation and have an opening for a baker who has a passion for artisan bread and traditional bakery products.

Personal Qualities: The ideal candidate will:
o Be an experienced artisan baker who can mix, hand-mould and bake bread with previous experience in an artisan bakery
o Be knowledgeable about artisan techniques and methods
o Work with our current team to maintain standards and bring fresh ideas
o Be able to work consistently and accurately
o Have a great work ethic, work well with others, be able to carry out physical work and work to timelines
o Be able to communicate effectively with line managers and the team
o Be passionate about their produce, looking for challenges and have a positive attitude
o Be able to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness
