Artisan Baker for The Wee Boulangerie


The Wee Boulangerie is a genuine, small artisan bakery.

 

Description:

We are looking for candidates who love bread, and strive to maintain the highest standards of production, both in terms of the quality and consistency of products and of the hygiene practices.

The candidate should be competent in performing all the stages of a varied artisan bread and pastry production and have a firm grasp of a day's production management. They should be able to work on their own as well as within a team.

The post is initially for 35h /week, 5 days a week; part time applicants will be considered.
Day shifts only (early shift starts at 6am, no night work).
Work on week ends, Saturdays and Sundays.

 

Contract

  • Permanent.

Qualifications Required

Personal Qualities

  • Understanding of various fermentation techniques including but not limited to sourdoughs is essential.

  • Additional patisserie skills would be a definite plus.
