Artisan Baker or Trainee Baker for Artisan Bread Organic


Summary: We mill our own flour and use proper overnight fermentation - real bread, just without the gluten. Don't worry if you have no experience with gluten-free - the same skills are required as in any good bakery! We do things naturally; we don't use gums or additives. Clean modern bakery and a friendly team await in the popular seaside town of Whitstable, 1.5 h South East of London.

Remuneration: £12/h

Job Description: You will be part of a small team of 3 bakers - you will need dough making skills and be able to carry 25kg sacks. We bake on four days a week (Mo-Th) and share a short Sunday shift on rotation. We pay £12.00/h for an experienced baker. We will consider training you if you want to learn, we pay £ 10.00/h for a trainee baker. Good prospects for the right candidates.

Contract: Permanent

Expected Hours: Full time

Personal Qualities: Eligible to work in the UK. We have a non-smoking and perfume-free policy.

Experienced baker preferred but willing to train you if you work hard and are really keen to learn.
