Margot is a new craft bakery opening in East Finchley, North London focusing on sourdough including sourdough viennoiserie and cakes for celebrations. It will be a community bakery with an open kitchen so plenty of customer interaction and classes with a creative, experimental, quality based approach to baking.



Experience in mixing, shaping and baking required, especially sourdough; experience with cakes and pastries would be ideal. A flexible and positive approach combined with sufficient practical skills to work independently from the beginning are required as the business gets up and running.

Early morning starts but no night shifts.

Qualifications Required   
  • Permited to work in the UK
  • Good experience in a commercial bakery environment; sourdough experience essential.

Personal Qualities

  • Good communication and numeracy skills; the ability to work independently and to effectively collaborate and express ideas in a constructive way. You should enjoy the process of baking, developing ideas and baking beautiful bread.
