Baker / Master Baker for East Avenue Bakehouse


East Avenue Bakehouse is British restaurant and artisan bakery located on a thriving ‘independent’ street in the city centre of Liverpool.

 

Description:

We are looking for an experienced craft or master baker to come and head up the small bakery team, someone with a passion for artisan bread and quality British food. This is a great opportunity to have creative input and grow the range, along side hand crafting artisan breads.

Skills needed: mixing, hand shaping, oven, proofing, scaling, production schedules, long fermentation techniques, pastry, training, working to hygiene and food safety standards.

We are looking to grow and perfect the range we offer, start production for market days and festivals in the spring. This is a management and full time baker position that for the right candidate is an opportunity to be part of the core team and an integral part of the business.

 

Contract

  • Permanent
 
Expected hours
  • Full time - 40-50 hours per week

 
Qualifications Required   
  • Experience essential.

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

 

Personal Qualities

  • Organised, team player with a strong work ethic. You must be passionate about bread and the artisan industry, creativity to develop ranges, attention to detail.
