Baker/Pastry Chef for Margot Bakery


Margot is a sourdough bakery based in East Finchley, N2. We bake and prepare everything on site and have a small cafe serving excellent coffee and light breakfasts and lunches.

 

Description:

You will be the third baker/pastry chef in a small team and will have the opportunity to work in all areas of bread and pastry production. The bakery is relatively new (open just under a year) and there is plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas and help refine the products and systems as we continue to grow. We operate a day time schedule so no night shifts required..

Expected hours
  • Full time, 5 days per week.

 
Qualifications Required   
  • Experience with sourdough bread production is essential though additional training will be provided if needed. 

 

Personal Qualities

  • You will need the ability to work as part of a small team and will enjoy working in a local bakery - our supportive customers are important to us and we work hard to provide quality, consistency and friendly service. Good communication skills are essential as is a genuine interest in making great food on a small scale and in working for and contributing to a growing business.
