Bakery Supervisor for Chatsworth House


We're proud of the wonderful range of breads, tarts, cakes and biscuits produced at the Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop in-house bakery. What's more, our inventive bakers create different speciality breads each week, inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients.

 

Description:

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced baker to supervise the Estate Farm Shop bakery on a full-time basis, beginning in December and covering maternity leave.

You will manage this small, busy department, training and developing the talented bakery team to help with your goals.

You must able to produce a full range of breads, cakes and pastries of a consistently high standard, taking the lead on innovative product development; ensuring what is produced contributes towards the drive for excellence within the Estate Farm Shop & Café.

Hours of work total 40 per week, working 5 days out of 7 and including one weekend day.

Qualifications Required   
  •  Applicants should have qualifications in baking or equivalent professional competence.   Experience in supervising a team is desirable but not essential.  Commitment to the highest Health & Safety and Food Hygiene practice is of the upmost importance.
