Beverley Glock Cookery School


Learn how to make bread from scratch by hand, using Beverley’s own tried and tested method, no kneading, just delicious bread using flour, yeast, salt, water, your hands and an oven. Beverley’s courses are no frills, real cookery classes for real people and are located in her home kitchen in her 18th century mill house in the Chilterns. The classes are small, maximum of 6 people, so Beverley can spend time individually if required.

You’ll make a basic bread dough and an olive oil dough and produce fougasse, breadsticks, pitta, flatbread and foccacia during her 3.5 hour bread making class. It’s suitable for complete beginners through to experienced bread makers who want a little inspiration and anyone who just loves bread.

The basic Bread Making course is £40 per person and runs from 10am-1.30pm and covers baking bread in a conventional oven and in an Aga.

Beverley is a food writer, author and presenter who is passionate about encouraging people to cook fresh food from scratch using locally sourced ingredients, her courses range from bread making to molecular gastronomy, Thai and inspirational family meals plus her popular Edible Christmas Present classes.
