The Masterclasses are run by Paul Barker who has worked in the baking industry for more than 30 years and has extensive knowledge, experience and qualifications in his field. Not only is he a professional Master Baker he is a qualified Flour Miller and began his career working for the world renowned Flour Milling and Baking Research Association and was also Technical Manager for an international baking ingredient company. He was recognised at the prestigious British Baking Industry Award for skills achievement in 2007 and again in 2014, winning the Innovation category for The Chocolate Orange.  Paul shares all this experience and knowledge on his masterclasses including Bread Making, Italian style bread & pizza, Advanced Bread, Croissant, Danish and Sweet Buns, Macarons, Classic Cake, Cup Cakes, Patisserie & The Art of Chocolate.  His tutoring skills were recognised at the 2013 Cookery School awards when he was a finalist in the Best Tutor category.  The hands-on classes run in small groups and are informal but with a real sense of purpose. Most attendees are enthusiasts or those wishing to perfect their skills.
