Summary: We are currently looking for a skilled baker to join our small, friendly team at our bakery in Warwick town centre. We are looking for someone who is geeky about bread, with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for new ideas. We would love it if you could hit the ground running to take responsibility for the daily bake (five shifts a week) – but we would also be interested in hearing from you if you are just starting out in your bakery career. In either case, you must have skills and experience in the production of sourdough and pastry in a commercial setting, with good working knowledge of hygiene practices. You will be working alone for a few hours every shift (once you’ve settled in!), so you must be confident in working independently and managing your time well. You will also be expected to chip in across other areas of the business, including product development, stock management, and of course, cleaning.

Job Description: In return, we can offer a fun and friendly working environment, with plenty of opportunities to develop skills, try out ideas and take on new responsibilities. After a probationary period, we are also offering a permanent, full-time contract with holiday pay, sick pay and pension contributions. Working hours are anticipated to be 5am to 1pm Tuesday to Friday, then 4am to 12pm on a Saturday. Salary will be based on experience (£17-20k a year).
