Experienced Pastry Chef for Holtwhites Bakery


Holtwhites is an independent artisan bakery. Our small and friendly team of bakers produce breads, pastries and cakes from scratch on our retail premises. We are committed to making and selling baked goods of the very highest quality, using top quality ingredients and attention to detail.

 

Description:

We are looking for an experienced and creative pastry chef to join our friendly team. The work will involve baking tray bakes, loaf cakes, muffins, decorative gingerbread biscuits and celebration cakes, as well as producing and baking viennoiserie (croissants, pain au chocolat etc) and other pastries. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a professional kitchen/bakery, good physical stamina, excellent attention to detail, creativity and a flair for working with food. Experience of supervising and/or managing more junior staff is preferred.
