Run by chef and baker Patrick Ryan Our courses at The Firehouse promise to take you on a hands on journey through the versatile world of real bread. Whether you are a beginner, experienced home baker or simply a food lover our one day courses aim to take the fear out of bread making and return bread to its rightful place as King of the Table.

This is a hands on experience so roll up your selves and prepare to get floured. We limit our class numbers to ensure each course is personalised. Throughout the day you will work side by side with Patrick as he takes you beyond the limitations of bread books, no square and pre-sliced loaves here.This is bread making with a difference. Come and experience a real bread adventure. A West Cork Island, a wood fired clay oven and the opportunity to learn a skill for life. The Bread Revolution is waiting.
