Full Time Baker for The Flour Pot Bakery


The Flour Pot is a Brighton & Hove based artisanal bakery specialising in long fermented sourdough and yeasted bread, laminated and savoury pastries. We serve our own Flour Pot shops in the city and a growing wholesale customer base that appreciates the best quality hand-crafted bread and Viennoiserie.

We are actively recruiting experienced talented bakers with a passion for and knowledge of all aspects of artisan bread to fill a new position in our fast paced bakery.

We offer very competitive salaries for the right candidates and real opportunities to advance your career in an exciting and challenging environment. All applicants should be proficient in mixing, shaping, scoring, oven management, preferments, and natural leavens. You should love bread, your craft and be an enthusiastic team player. You will have experience working in or heading up an artisanal bakery and be able to meet the physical demands and often unsociable hours of a fast-paced and challenging bakery.

We also run a successful Apprenticeship Scheme and welcome enthusiastic and motivated candidates, that would like to begin their careers in the industry. You have to be able to learn fast and have a positive attitude towards challenges that the role can bring.
