Artisan breadmaking is in our DNA. Hartingtons are members of the Real Bread Campaign and we have two expert breadmaking tutors who are all passionate about making artisan bread. Each tutor brings their own style to the class but in each case you will learn to make bread in a fun, group environment. Our courses are suitable for total beginners or experienced bread makers looking to improve their techniques or pick up some expert tips. All the courses take place in our fabulous converted saw mill in Bakewell with stunning views over the town. Currently, the courses include: an introduction to artisan breadmaking, french breadmaking and a specialist sourdough breadmaking course. Courses take place during the week and at the weekend and a warm Peak District welcome awaits you.
