Manna from Devon Cooking School has been running classes at their school in South Devon since 2005. Bread making classes have always been at the heart of their offering and are run by David Jones, a passionate and experienced artisan baker. All classes are limited to six students and they regularly offer 5 different classes:

Essential Bread:
Giving students a solid grounding in the basics of ingredients, kneading, shaping and baking as they create a range of delicious bread to take home.

Italian Bread: 
Create classics like ciabatta, foccaccia, pizza, pagnotta and more. Learn to work with soft dough and to create great, open textured breads.

Artisan Bread Weekend:
David’s three day class has a maximum of 4 students and is for the enthusiast who wants an intensive course in all aspects of bread making.

Baking in a Wood-Fired Oven
Aimed at owners of wood-fired ovens who hope to bake bread, cakes, puddings and pastries. 

Classes take place at Manna from Devon Cooking School overlooking the River Dart in Kingswear, South Devon. Accommodation is available at the school.
