Marcellas Sourdough Class


Over one and a half days I will show you five essential things in order to make well structured flavoursome crusty sourdough bread at home.

  1. the right ingredients
  2. how to create, maintain and use a leaven
  3. how to make a well developed dough
  4. hand skills for shaping
  5. how to bake your bread

By doing this I hope to show you how to follow a natural process and to use your own senses to know when something is ready or right. In this way you should – with experience – be able to adapt the process to your own schedule and make sourdough regularly. Because the class will be held in our own domestic kitchen you should be able to reproduce at home what you learn here.
