Night Baker for Da Bara Bakery


Born from the pastry kitchen of Hotel Tresanton, Da Bara Bread is the creation of  brothers Tim and Ben Hawkins in their pursuit for the perfect loaf.

“We bake real honest bread with a proper crust and great flavour, slowly. Without shortcuts. Each one cut, weighed and shaped by hand.”

Delivering to shops and restaurants around Cornwall 6 mornings per week from our Grampound Road bakery where we also serve seasonal coffee to take away alongside delicious pastries and other treats.

 

Description: 

  • Experienced Baker to join our busy night bake.  

 

Contract

  • Temporary (6 months seasonal contract with possible permanent position)
 
Expected hours
  • 4 nights per week
 
Qualifications Required   
  • Good knowledge of French/Italian breads, yeasted and Levains.
  • Permitted to work in the UK (a valid EU work permit or ID is required)
 

Personal Qualities

  • We are looking for someone with passion and enthusiasm for baking and be accustomed to batch baking.
  • Needs to be capable of working on their own and also as part a small team.
