Beginner Bread Baking at Philleigh Way

On this creative one day course, Cornish chef George Pascoe will take you through the craft of artisan bread baking, leaving you with the skills and inspiration to create your very own rustic breads at home.

During this hands on course and you will make a rustic farmhouse loaf, Italian focaccia, soda bread and your very own sourdough starter to take home along with your freshly baked breads. The course also covers ciabattas and various flat breads and will give you numerous insights and baker’s tips on how to get the best results when baking at home. Lunch is included and will comprise a filled focaccia together with other Philleigh Way delicacies.

Intermediate Bread Baking at Philleigh Way

On this creative one day course, the second in our bread baking series, Cornish Chef George Pascoe will guide you through a journey of breads from around the globe which will provide you with the skills and inspiration to wow your friends and family at home with some deliciously different breads.

During this hands on course you will bake a range of delicious and more technically challenging breads all of which you will be able to take home at the end of the day, these will include the classic French croissant, the New York Bagel, the slightly sweet Brioche and Pide, a Middle Eastern flatbread. The course will also provide you with numerous insights and tips on how to get the best results when baking more challenging recipes at home. A tapas style lunch is included which will consist of a range of breads from around the world together with other homemade Philleigh Way delicacies.
