Sourdough Head Baker for Trove Bakery


Trove Bakery is a team of creative individuals who have passion for sourdough bread and the cultivation of naturally leavened bread raising agents. Over the last three years we have grown to become Manchester's leading producer of REAL bread using sourdough cultures and pre ferments. We supply our own local cafe as well as other local businesses around Manchester.

 

Description: 

  • Essentially Trove Bakery is seeking an experienced individual to lead the baking team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to flourish in our growing business.

    Providing a depth of knowledge towards sourdough cultures and their response to seasons, flour-type, age and origin, temperature and time to bring out the best flavours and crusts bread can offer.

Expected hours
  • A lot. 40+
 
Qualifications Required   
  • 3years + baking experience and sourdough baking especially.
  • Level 2 food safety and hygiene certification
  • Comfortable writing and reading recipe formulae.

Remuneration 

  • £20,000 Plus. Depending on experience
