BakeryBits Rental Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all rentals of BakeryBits dough sheeters. By placing a rental order you confirm you have read and accepted these terms. Please read carefully before proceeding with your rental.

1. Rental Period

The standard rental period is 14 days from the date the customer receives the machine. Late returns are charged at £20 + VAT per day unless agreed otherwise in writing.

2. Deposit

A refundable deposit of £300 is required. The deposit will be refunded once the machine, packaging, and all included items are returned clean, complete, and undamaged. Any deductions for cleaning, repair, damage, or missing items will be notified to you before refund.

3. Cleaning and Condition

Please return the machine clean and undamaged to ensure full refund of your deposit. A £50 + VAT cleaning fee will be deducted from the deposit if additional cleaning is required. If repairs are necessary due to misuse, loss of parts, or damage, the cost of repair or replacement will be deducted from the deposit.

4. Responsibility, Damage or Loss

You are responsible for the machine and packaging from the moment it is received until it is returned to BakeryBits. The rental includes: the dough sheeter machine, two product boxes, and a robust transport box.

All items must be kept in good condition and the machine must be neatly repackaged for safe return in the robust transport box. If the machine or packaging is lost, not returned, incomplete, or damaged, BakeryBits may retain part or all of the deposit. If not returned within 21 days of the rental end date and no agreement has been made, BakeryBits reserves the right to retain the full deposit and charge the replacement cost of the machine.

5. Shipping

The rental fee includes return shipping only. You must use the supplied packaging and pre-paid return label. If packaging is lost or damaged, contact BakeryBits for a replacement before returning the machine.

6. Cancellations

Orders cancelled before dispatch will be refunded in full. Once dispatched, the rental cannot be cancelled, though the machine can be returned under the terms of this agreement.

7. Proper Use

The machine must be used only for its intended purpose – sheeting dough. Do not modify, disassemble, or attempt to repair the machine. Any misuse may result in additional charges.

8. Liability

BakeryBits is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from use or misuse of the machine. You are responsible for safe and proper operation during the rental period.

9. Purchase Incentive

If you purchase a new dough sheeter from BakeryBits within 30 days of returning your rental, the £60 + VAT rental fee will be credited against your purchase.

By placing a rental order, you confirm you have read and accepted these Rental Terms and Conditions.
