This pure Spanish saffron is grown in Albacete, where Spain's best saffron is produced. The Crocus Sativus bulb is planted in the summer and the stigmas picked in the autumn before being dried and toasted to make saffron. This 5g pot is made from the stigmas of 1250 crocus flowers, ground to a fine powder for ease of use.
Use in rice, risotto, paella, pastries, cakes and bread.
