This baguette loading peel is made from a single piece of solid beech and shaped for precise handling of narrower loaves. Its rounded edges and tapered tip help it slip under dough more easily, while the slim 12cm blade offers excellent control where a wider peel would be less convenient. Â
It is a particularly practical option for baguettes, demi-baguettes and other long, narrow breads where a compact, accurate peel is more useful than a broader board. The shorter overall length also makes it easier to handle in tighter working spaces.
Dust lightly with flour or semolina before use to help prevent sticking. This version has a peel length of 50cm, a peel width of 12cm and an overall length of 65cm.
