Italian Blood Orange Extract is a concentrated natural flavouring for baking and food preparation, made with Italian blood orange essential oil for the distinctive aroma and character of blood orange. It is well suited to cakes, desserts, creams, fillings, icing, confectionery and other recipes where you want a bright citrus note with the richer character of blood orange.  
Non-alcoholic and free from preservatives and colourings, it is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. It is also lactose free, with allergens absent.  
Usage: Use approximately ½-1tsp per 500g of mixture or liquid, adjusting to taste. Because this is a highly concentrated flavouring, a little goes a long way. Store well closed and away from sources of heat.
