The ETI SuperFast Thermapen 3 is a fast, accurate folding probe thermometer for baking, cooking and kitchen temperature checks. For bakers, it is especially useful for checking the internal temperature of bread, enriched doughs, cakes, syrups, custards and other bakes where timing and temperature matter.
The stainless steel probe folds neatly into the body when not in use, making the thermometer easy to store and safer to keep in a drawer or apron pocket. Open the probe to switch it on, insert the reduced-tip probe into the food, and read the temperature on the clear digital display.
The SuperFast Thermapen 3 reads from -49.9 to 299.9°C, with readings in around 3-4 seconds. It has a washable, water-resistant case with Biomaster protection and an auto-off feature to help preserve battery life.
Please note that this is a probe thermometer for internal temperature checks. For checking the surface temperature of baking stones, steels, griddles or oven floors, use an infrared thermometer instead.
