SummaryThe Artisan Bakehouse, based in Ashurst West Sussex is an award winning bread making school. We have recently been awarded two Global awards as ‘Bread Making school of the Year’ 2022/23.
We have an extensive range of bread making workshops and online masterclasses to suit beginners and professional bakers. Our tutors are passionate and knowledgeable and we are proud to have international baker & author Emmanuel Hadjiandreou as part of our team. He teaches our sourdough, wholegrains and Viennoiserie classes as well as Easter and Christmas Baking.
All our workshops take place in our idyllic Bakehouse which is set in 5 acres of pretty gardens and woodlands so makes for the perfect escape to come and bake for the day or longer. We have on-site accommodation too if you want to extend your time here.
Our class sizes are small to ensure an informal, relaxed hands-on day. We have a wood-burning oven, Rofco bakers oven as well as traditional fan ovens so that our delegates always leave enthusiastic and well-equipped to start baking again at home.
