The Ankarsrum Flake Mill Attachment fits the Ankarsrum Assistent Original and rolls dry grains into fresh flakes for muesli, porridge, bread toppings and baking. Rather than grinding grain into flour, the flake mill flattens the grain, giving you freshly rolled oats, wheat, rye, rice and other suitable cereals as you need them.
Use it for dry ingredients such as oats, wheat, rye, corn, rice, spelt, quinoa and buckwheat. It is not designed for wet or oily ingredients, and should not be used for nuts, raisins or dried fruit.
The flake mill fits Ankarsrum Assistent models N1-N30 and can process up to 1.25kg of grain at a time. It is a useful attachment if you want fresher breakfast flakes, homemade muesli or freshly rolled grains for adding texture and flavour to bread doughs.
