Handmade BakeryBits Batter Bowl

Mix your batter or sourdough starter in our handmade ceramic bowl, glazed in a beautiful duck egg blue. Handmade for BakeryBits by Somerset craftsman Matt Waite in very limited batches, these bowls look amazing whether empty or hard at work. We send them to you in a bespoke gift box to protect them on their journey.

Glazed inside and plain on the outside with a very tactile shape and easy pouring spout, they are made from Cornish stoneware clay. They comfortably hold around 850ml (they vary a little - they're hand-thrown), and measure 22cm across the top (21.5cm including the spout) and 8cm high.

They're lovely to hold, look amazing and are becoming a firm favourite with our photographer as a background prop!

Use: we use them for mixing sourdough starter and pancake batters. It has a nice spout for pouring liquids - water, milk, cream etc.

Care: the ceramic bowl is very tough and can be used in the oven if required. For best results, handwash.
