Panettone Sugar Grains 10kg

Panettone Sugar Grains are large decorative white sugar granules intended for surface use on sweet bakery and confectionery products. Dry, free flowing and evenly graded, they are especially useful where you want a bold sugary topping rather than sugar dissolved through the dough.

They work particularly well on panettone, colombe, sweet breads, buns and other enriched bakes where a traditional decorative finish is wanted. Their large size helps give a bright white topping with a noticeable crunch and strong visual contrast after baking.

At around 5.3-5.5mm, these grains are much larger than standard nibbed or pearl sugars. That makes them a specialist choice for surface garnish, where you want the sugar to remain clearly visible and give a more dramatic bakery finish.
