Milled at Cann Mills in Dorset, this light-brown self-raising flour is excellent for cakes and all other recipes where the best organic self-raising flour is needed with a little more bite than the white version.

Stoate's stoneground organic brown self raising flour is carefully stoneground and packed into 1.5kg bags. The heat generated during the slow and gentle milling process is just sufficient to distribute the wheat germ oil evenly, while retaining the natural vitamins and minerals in the finished flour. The proportion of bran left in the self-rainsing flour gives the baked cake a firmer texture and more flavour.
