Amaretto di Saronno Bitter Almond Oil

Amaretto di Saronno Bitter Almond Oil is a concentrated bitter almond flavouring for baking and confectionery, with the distinctive aroma associated with amaretti-style bakes and marzipan. Based on vegetable oil rather than alcohol, it is a useful option where you want a fuller almond character without using a spirit-based extract.

Its flavour is especially suited to almond cakes, biscuits, pastry fillings, icings, frangipane-style bakes and confectionery. Because it is highly concentrated, only a very small amount is needed. It is best added sparingly and adjusted carefully to suit the recipe and the strength of flavour you want.

Available in 100ml, 1L and 5L sizes, it works for occasional home baking as well as more regular bakery use. Store sealed, away from direct light, at 5-15C.

How to use
Use very sparingly. Start with a very small amount and increase gradually according to the recipe and the flavour intensity wanted. This is a concentrated flavouring and should not be swallowed raw.
