Wooden Bread or Pizza Peel or Paddle, 30cm wide

A traditional wooden peel or paddle is perfect for sliding bread or pizza in and out of a hot oven quickly allowing the oven to stay at the right temperature - rather than fiddling around with the door open letting the heat out.

This is a wooden peel, made to our specification, with bevelled edges and a long, rounded wooden handle, the right size for domestic kitchen ovens. The blade is 12" (30cm) wide; the overall length including the handle is 39" (100cm), just the right size for keeping in a kitchen.

With a dusting of flour or semolina before sliding dough into the oven, this is an invaluable tool for the bread baker.
