Mulino Marino Organic Chickpea flour made from whole chickpeas (not just the skin and refuse from sorting) for a higher quality flour with more vegetal oil which gives a richer flavour. 500g bag.

 

FARINATA (chickpea pancakes) recipe from Fausto Marino
 
Mix 500g chickpea flour in 1600g water taking care to avoid lumps. Add salt to taste and leave to rest for about 4 hours.
 
Remove any foam from the surface. Pour into a shallow and wide pan, preferably copper, with a small glass of olive oil and mix until evenly mixed.
 
Put the tray into an oven pre-heated to 200C. Bake until just set. Serve hot with a sprinkling of pepper.
 
Optionally, add a finely chopped onions, rosemary or peppers to the mixture before baking.
