Sfarinato di Grano Duro from the Italian master millers Mulino Marino (a form of Semola rimacinata di grano duro) is a stone-ground organic durum Type 2 flour from a heterogeneous mixture of organic durum wheats such as:
- Simeto variety from Catania area, Sicily
- Marco Aurelio variety from Montefeltro area, Le Marche
- Achille variety from oltrepò Pavese, Lombardy.
This mixture is higher in flavour and taste than a single-variety flour. Durum wheat flour is a fine flour, rich in fibre and ideal for egg-free pasta such as spaghetti and noodles.
Ingredients: Durum wheat, calcium, iron, niacin, thiamin.
Why is this Italian now now fortified?
